== Launch Recap ==

NS-85 was a dedicated FISH flight launched from Mount Saint Mary’s University. Below command, there was 100 ft of paracord line with streamers every 10 ft. Below was an unwinder holding approximately 200 additional feet of micro cord, followed by FISH. First flight attempt with the unwinder.

NS-85 was the first flight following the NS-84 water landing, and therefore some tracking electronics were replaced or upgraded to replace damaged components. The prior Command box having demonstrated major flaws in water landings was replaced with an EPP cooler.

An additional tracker on W3EAX-14 was placed in FISH to aid in recovery efforts. This turned out to be the best working of the three flown.

== Recovery ==
The long payload line was draped over several >50ft trees. It was clear additional slingshot practice is needed to recover payloads that high in a timely manner.

== Failure analysis ==

BITS and Celltracker met their primary tracking goals but BITS failed to log data, and Celltracker's GPS failed to go to NAV-5, resulting in no 1Hz log above 12km. After ascent the W3EAX-12 Habduino appeared to stop sending packets entirely, and the -8 Habduino also functioned intermittently. Conclusion was that further ground testing was needed, and a better way to asses tracker functionality pre-flight was necessary. After the flight Habduino's were tested at 1km range to assess/reproduce the failures.
